The mosque in Islamic civilization

Abstract:   (4 Views)
Islamic history shows that the mosque has been the epicenter of Muslim gatherings in order to preach, teach, learn and plan for Muslim. In different periods, especially in recent times mosques have been the central place for uprising against oppression. Also, according to view of urbanism and architecture near the major mosques, schools, markets, libraries, hospitals and other public facilities have been constructed. Thus, the Muslims and Islamic governments have tried serious efforts to construct and equip for mosques; in addition, in this buildings were used the best features available and religious art. As a result, mosque get a location for training of the pious, revolutionary and visionary people that such people inspired by the teachings and blessings of civilization mosque in Islamic theology. Mosques has always had numerous capacities for civilization in Islam; however, some of these capacities are marginalized today.
