The Relationship between Reason and Faith from the Viewpoint of Mulla Sadra

The relationship between Reason and Faith has engaged Muslim and non-Muslim scholars from the past up to now. Also, there has been some considerable discussions amongst scholars in both areas. Some believe that the Reason cannot be used in the religious epistemological sphere and they have only satisfied with the vary revelation teachings as an Islamic source. In contrast, another group who are rationalistic, examine all the issues in the field of Reason. Therefore, both groups believe Reason and Faith are always in conflict with each other, and they do not involve each other in the field of epistemology. This research seeks to clarify the relationship between Reason and Faith from the perspective of Mulla Sadra and the scope of Reason and Faith in compared to each other.
