Context principles in Quran Exegesis
Masumeh Kolivand Sefollahi
MA in Islamic Theoretical Principles, Islamic Maaref University
Abstract:   (2 Views)
The title of this study is context principles in Quran exegesis and its substances has been composed via library sources. Although the leading of context is appropriate to every text but taking the benefit of this method is more constructive in Quran exegesis and understanding the meaning of Quranic verses. Because the relation between verses had been exactly considered in Quran and also with its special literature it suggests most meaning through less words. Paying attention to the context leads us to find out the meanings beyond the literal and conceptual meaning of word. So, understanding the goal and purpose of the verses needs attention to the context (attention to the beginning and ending of verse and general harmony of verses). Quranic Sciences scholars referred to the narrative and rational reasons to prove the validation of context and recognized its history back to the period of Imams and the companions of the Prophet peace be upon them. Using  the context to realize the verses follows special rules like: connection in subject and concept, divine verse order, no opposite apparent text etc.
